What a Day…A baby, Patrick, and Moose

Steve & Megan had their baby last night. Her name is Abigail Marie. She was born by emergency c-section. Megan is doing is pretty well as of when we were there this evening. Abigail is the most beautiful I have seen. No fugly newborn stuff going on, LoL.

Patrick is coming home tomorrow. It has been very odd and sad without him around. I hope he has learned his lesson.

Moose has finally gone to his new home. It took them long enough and the guy (will probably be Alex’s father in law in the future) put us off and messed around to where it took 2 extra weeks. UGH…I am soooo not getting into a rant about the kind of peole that they are.

Anyhow, the baby & mama are doing good, and Patrick will be home tomorrow. I am hoping that life can get back to semi normal. Maybe I’ll even get to work on the website and blog a bit.

Blessings,
Mama

Blurb about today and ramble about my kids

I am managing to get some things accomplished today. Stuff that it is difficult to do when you can’t even manage to get into a standing position without major pain. I am doing abit better, and albeit, probably should not be pushing myself, but I have been going stir crazy, so I’m doing stuff around the house.

I am only doing normal things like cleaning the bathroom and sweeping the livingroom and cleaning Lilly’s yard. It is amazing how bothersome it is to be out of commission. Most of the kids have been good about helping out extra and not complaining when I ask them to do things that I usually accomplish. I thank The Lord for having such loving & caring children.

I am so greatful to be blessed with the children that I have. There are difficult times, but all in all, they are awesome kids! Even our extra girl, Allie is pretty awesome! When I am back and moving without extra pain, I want to do something special for them. I’m not crazy about the video games, but maybe I’ll get them some new controllers since the one they have is messed up. I could get a pair of them and I think they would all appreciate it.

Well, I’m totally rambling and my timer is ticking, it’s time to get back up and try to do something else!

Blessings in Christ,
Mama Pitcher

Submission to My Dear Husband

I am listening to KGMS and these are my notes and thoughts.

Submission with loving leadership..
Boys need to be taught to lead their wives in love. Men need respect, women need love. Dad is the leader of the home. He ALWAYS deserves respect! The children see their mother respect their father as the head of the family. God designed marriage. Husband nor Wife can fulfill their roles if they are selfish! If you are selfish, you CANNOT have a God blessed marriage. It is MANS resposibility to be the leader.

Live Ephesians 5 through Philippians 2.

I lovingly following my husband..God is in control. My husband does not demand that I do it his way. I do things his way to show him respect. My husband has a higher priority to me than my children. First comes God, then my husband, then my children.

By submitting to my husband I am acknowledging my dependence on him. I am dependant and I enjoy that dependency.

There is something inside of women, a fear that if we are not in control of our lives that we freeze up. – Genesis 2 & 3 Eve was not willing to turn to Adam to trust him in the leadership. Adam should have spoken and told her ” do NOT”. Eve was placed in the Garden of Eden to be Adams Help! I am here to be my husband help! He is here to be my leader.

Morning on the Homestead

Wow, is it windy today! It is messing with my internet, what fun! It’s already pretty warm outside too.

I got a late start, but I made tea last night (3 gallons + a day for the family) so at least that was done. The horses are taken care of and Miracle Dancer got to go up and free feed in the front most yard. She really enjoyed the fresh bermuda, it was funny watching her. Jessica is not wanting to do the dishes, but once she gets them done, I’m going to make some crumb cake. MMmmmm MMmmmm

After that, I have got a bunch to do. Work on the homestead really never slows down. I guess at least I don’t get into much trouble, it keeps me busy.

I also need to really work on some quilting squares to sell on ebay.

Yesterday was wonderful at the Desert Museum, and I will try to remember to post some about it later on.

wow, talk about a scattered ramble, LoL

mama
