What a Day…A baby, Patrick, and Moose

Steve & Megan had their baby last night. Her name is Abigail Marie. She was born by emergency c-section. Megan is doing is pretty well as of when we were there this evening. Abigail is the most beautiful I have seen. No fugly newborn stuff going on, LoL.

Patrick is coming home tomorrow. It has been very odd and sad without him around. I hope he has learned his lesson.

Moose has finally gone to his new home. It took them long enough and the guy (will probably be Alex’s father in law in the future) put us off and messed around to where it took 2 extra weeks. UGH…I am soooo not getting into a rant about the kind of peole that they are.

Anyhow, the baby & mama are doing good, and Patrick will be home tomorrow. I am hoping that life can get back to semi normal. Maybe I’ll even get to work on the website and blog a bit.

Blessings,
Mama

Our new to us portable home…

Today, we got our new to us RV.  It is a total classic and we love it!  It is a 1976 Dodge Sportsman.  It has the original shag carpet as well as everything else.  It needs some work in the engine and the waterlines and the one propane line has been severed.  It needs cleaned.

But we are all in love with it.  We are hoping to get her all fixed up and take her on a maiden voyage soon.

Blessings in Christ,

Mama

much ado about nothing…

Things around have been hectic, and I will not bore everyone with writing a novel about it. Nor will I bore myself with rehashing all the trivial details. Everyone here is safe and sound. That is what matters. It has been nothing major, just alot of people here and some craziness, but all is well that ends well. And it has ended well, so it’s all good.

I have almost finished my daily tasks and I am going to make a cake for a young lady who is turning 15 tomorrow. The child is older than her years, and is one of the sweetest teenage young ladies I have had the joy of knowing.
