forget those things which are behind

Philippians 3:13-14 (King James Version)

13Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

I am learning to forget those things which are behind. It is not easy. I have alot of behind to forget.

But I am working diligently on reaching for things which are before. I awake each morning all new and fresh. Even on down days or on days when it hurts to move. I am still awaking new.

Thank You God for giving Your only Son so that I may have today.

Amen

Exhaustion

Patrick is home. We are working off of a schedule and I am not so good at it. I am learning though.

Yesterday was a long day with stress and meetings. I did not sleep much last night and this morning we were back up and out the door about 7:30.

We did a run to the landfill. Then I dropped Pat and the trash cans off at home. I went to the feed store (not one of the closest two, their hay is awful right now). 24 bales of hay and seeing someone I hoped to never see again, then back home. Farrier here for hoof trimmings. Faith was awful! I do NOT know what got into her. Then offload 24 bales of said hay. Do a few chores and off again to head to town for a lunch date and a trip to the hardware store for supplies to put in a water line out back, chicken coop supplies, as well as some stuff to repair the wall and floor of the RV. Then back home, do chores, work with horses, deal with a hyper 3 legged dog and then my sister too. It is always interesting. Then time to make dinner, eat and enjoy a small bit of time with the family that was here & clean up. Then working on next weeks schedule, which again, is not an easy thing for me. The phone calls and here I am at 9pm finally getting some computer time.

The computer time will increase this coming week, as I am @ home Mon, Tues, Thurs & Friday. YAY!!!!!

I hope all y’all are staying safe and warm (although we are going to be near 80′f for the the next week).

Blessings,
Mama

What a Day…A baby, Patrick, and Moose

Steve & Megan had their baby last night. Her name is Abigail Marie. She was born by emergency c-section. Megan is doing is pretty well as of when we were there this evening. Abigail is the most beautiful I have seen. No fugly newborn stuff going on, LoL.

Patrick is coming home tomorrow. It has been very odd and sad without him around. I hope he has learned his lesson.

Moose has finally gone to his new home. It took them long enough and the guy (will probably be Alex’s father in law in the future) put us off and messed around to where it took 2 extra weeks. UGH…I am soooo not getting into a rant about the kind of peole that they are.

Anyhow, the baby & mama are doing good, and Patrick will be home tomorrow. I am hoping that life can get back to semi normal. Maybe I’ll even get to work on the website and blog a bit.

Blessings,
Mama
