AAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH

What is it with kids? Not out kids, cuz ours are perfect (roflmao), the proplem is children that other people have made a half butt attempt at raising.

Louis is a total loss at this point. He is stealing from us and lieing to us and is not willing to do his chores, so he was told last night that while he is in town, he needs to find another place to live. It was very hard for Marc to do. But it was a decision based on what is best for our family.

We will see what Destiny chooses. It will be difficult for her if she goes against what she has said. I guess only time will tell.

We had the school open house and the church small group assignment meeting last night. I come home (after making the kitchen spotless except for clean dishes to be put away) and my kitchen is trashed to the max. I about had a fit. ALL of the children were in bed except for Jessica who had been at church. They will all get a good tongue lashing as well as getting chores reassigned this weekend anyways. I am sick of cleaning and before I get to enjoy the clean area, the children have trashed it again. AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH

Well, it’s after 5am and I need to get going on my chores.
Have a great day,
Blessings in Christ,
Mama

motivation…

I am totally motivated at the moment. It probably won’t last as Marc & I have to run into town to pick up Louis @ 1. But until we have to leave, I am busting butt. I might get to meet up with my sister then too.

I’ve made 3 batches of chocolate chip cookies and delivered those that were intended for delivery. I’ve got the kids’ bagged up and waiting for them when they get home from school. Animals are taken care of, the bed is made and I’ve got my 2nd load of laundry finishing up and almost ready to get hung on the line.

I’m going to finish up the remaining dishes and when we get back from town, I’ve got a dinner to make and then we are headed to the school for open house and then to church for small groups.

And, at some point in time I need to feed animals their dinner and work on some sewing.

I hope everyone is having a great day!
Blessings,
Mama

1am and it is 87′ outside…

We won’t get much cooler than that and it is ridiculous! It is almost 90′ F outside and it is 15 minutes after 1am.

And some people argue that global warming isn’t happening! People used to talk about how in the desert it was hot during the day and cold at night. It doesn’t happen like that anymore. It is hot all of the time. Only at night, there isn’t a sun blaring on you.

Insomnia strikes again…

Blessings,
Mama

MCS research stuff…MCS is the inability of ones’ body to remove toxins properly from the body

An Introduction to Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)

http://www.epa.gov/iaq/ia-intro.html

MCS is the inability of ones’ body to remove toxins properly from the body

Allergies are an overreaction of the immune system to otherwise “benign” substances, such as pollen, dander, and dust, and are characterized by the formation of rapid-acting antibodies known as IgE (immunoglobulin E). Symptoms are typically itchy, watery eyes, sneezing, rash, and congestion. Serious allergic reactions may result in anaphylaxis (closing of the airway).

MCS is analogous to poisoning by low levels of “toxic” substances, such as solvents, petrochemicals, and volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) found in fragrances, air fresheners, cleaning chemicals, and pesticides. Unlike allergies, MCS is not characterized by the formation of IgE, but rather by cellular inflammation and impaired detoxification which may lead to an elevated body burden of toxic chemicals.

Symptoms of MCS are typically neurological and include headache, fatigue, dizziness, nausea, disorientation, memory problems, slowed reaction time, peripheral neuropathy, sensory neuropathy, organic brain syndrome, and personality/mood changes. Other symptoms may include respiratory difficulty, rash, burning sensations in the nose and mouth, and gastrointestinal disorders. Serious MCS reactions may result in impaired speech, seizures, stroke, and paralysis.

It’s My Party & I’ll Cry If I Want To….aka….Mama’s Birthday

Whelp, today was my birthday. I survived the day and the party and other than still being sick, it was wonderful!

Marc took me to my most favorite mexican restaurant for brunch! They make these potatoe chuncks (fries) with asada meat and sour cream and pico de gallo and it’s an awesome meal. But I could not decide between those and the chicken chimi so I got both. I ate the fries for breakfast and shared the chimi with everyone for lunch. It totally hit the spot!

Then I attempted to take a nap which was about as futile as it gets. The older children had gone out and gotten my birthday presents from them and they were very loud and very excited. It was neat to see them so excited.

Marc got me my JessiCow for my birthday. My sister got me two Holstein hanging bird houses and she made cheesecake galore and also a spice cake. YAY! Some friends of ours got me this beautiful candle set up as well as a cool folding animal photo holder. Shelby & her Mom got me these two awesome shirts (Pink, YAY) and a beautiful cross keychain. My Mom & Dad gave me $25 in good cold hard cash (YAY). Andy and Jessica got me a horse grooming kit with a carry box and everything I might need to keep our two equine monsters looking beautiful! (And everything in it is PINK) Patrick got me this beautiful Gold Cross necklace. The necklace thing is something he and I have always done for eachother. It started when he was about 8). Destiny got me a wireless mouse for my laptop & or main computer (It is pink, YAY). Serenity got me some photo paper and Patrick also got me some printer ink. Then the whopper of it all was that Alex, Patrick & Destiny got the copier / scanner / printer / fax machine that I have been wanting. It works like a good old fashioned copier if I want it to as well as printing and a flatbed scanner and a fax machine. It will network with all the computers as well as I can put my camera chip in it and it will print from them. The neatest thing though is that I can scan a typed paper and it will change it from a graphic picture into a text file. So I can scan things I might otherwise have to type out. I am going to try that out tomorrow.

Well, it is not that late, but I am still sick and I am exhausted. I hope everyone had a wonderful day and I will try to write more after church tomorrow.

Blessings,
Mama
