A Hooker Poem
My wife is a hooker,
Of this she’s mighty proud,
And the stories of her exploits,
Are legends in our town.
She’s shameless with her talents,
She’ll go hooking anywhere,
And if people want to watch her,
She really doesn’t care.
It seems to be a family thing,
Her mother taught her how.
Seems her grandma was a hooker,
and my daughter’s hooking now.
She goes to Hookers’ meetings,
to learn the new techniques.
She starts hooking in a frenzy,
and won’t talk to me for weeks.
She doesn’t do the housework,
She doesn’t make the beds,
No she doesn’t have time for that,
She’d rather hook instead.
My wife, she is a hooker,
and I curse that awful day,
when she first picked up the hook and yarn,
and learned how to Crochet!!

Marc and I were talking about the current temperature outside (930ish and it’s almost 85). He asked about a cold front that we should be expecting. rolfmao…
I looked it up and we DO have a coldfront coming in…it will only be in the upper 80’s for a few days…roflmao..a cold front

I have not been feeling up to par…just exhausted all of the time, so I’ve been falling behind on my normal stuff. Today I am going to try to get some catching up done…
dirty dishes… have a load running in the dishwasher
will cycle that through and do another load
water the veggie garden
plant the melons
water said melon seeds
water the gourds & grapes
water the circle garden
water the bermuda
is there anything else I should water?
clean off my desk
pick up the livingroom
go get propane so I can cook dinner
what is for dinner today? (check my list)
sweep the kitchen and livingroom
sweet the bedroom floor
run a load of laundry
It has been too windy to hang it so my clothes have not been done
work on making some sitting pillows
water the indoor plants again (it is so dry even they are getting wilty)
fix the crabs’ climbing wall
be downtown for a court hearing at 4 pm,
make dinner
clean up dinner mess
bring laundry in, fold it, put it away
pack Marcs dinner
clean horse and chicken water buckets
clean the duck pond
clean the dog water bucket
feed the animals
That’s all that I can think of at the moment. I might see if Raven is up to being pulled away at about 5-ish to go to the Caspah for a pot of tea, although they were out of Hibiscus, so if they don’t have any in yet, I’m not sure what I would drink, LOL. They do a lot with nuts and such and I can’t have any of that.
